Iconica Icons projects questions -

› What is the price of your icons\graphics work?
Because every project is unique we can't possibly quote one specific price for our custom icons design work. Please use our contact page, give us a detailed explanation of what you'd like Iconica to create for you, and we'll give you a reasonable and timely quote customized to your specific project requirements.

› Are your identity logos created as vector or raster images?
It depends on what you'll be using the logo for. If it is to be used for print, advertisements, letterheads, package branding and\or business cards then it will be created in vector format. If the logo is for online use it may be created in raster format, unless you specify otherwise before we begin your project.

› I just need a few icons for my project
Please contact us, tell us about your icon requirements, and we'll get back to you within 3 business days.

› I don't need icons but I do need web graphics designed
We also develop web graphics and graphivs for web applications. Feel free to contact us! Please read our Services page for all the design services Iconica Custom Icons offers.

Iconica Stock Icons questions -

› I will purchase\have purchased your Iconica Stock Icons Set but I do need a few more icons specific to my program's needs. Can you create these extra ones for me?
We'll gladly create any extras at our regular custom icon pricing. These extra custom icons will be made to match the colors, design, style and perspective of the Iconica Stock Icons set you've purchased.

› Will these extra icons also fall under your Stock Icons Set licensing?
No, these extra icons will be custom created specifically for your application. You will own the full copyrights to them. We will never sell these extra custom created icons to any other client, nor will they ever be part of any of our stock icons sets.

Iconica Website Issues questions -

› I can't download your icon sample zip files.
All icon sample zip files at Iconica are hot-linking protected. Make sure your firewall rules are set up correctly for this address. Click here to read how to configure your firewall for Iconica Custom Icons . If you still can't download the sample icons you can disable your firewall for the specific download. Do not use download accelerators or internet access accelerators as these also interfere with hot-linking protected files.

› I still can't download your sample icons, can you email them to me?
We're sorry but we can't email our sample icons. Please try all the suggestions above to download icons at Iconica.

› I can't see the images on your website.
All image files at Iconica are hot-linking protected to conserve our bandwidth. This issue can be resolved following the same firewall rules setup instructions given above for downloading our icon sample zip files.

› Your website doesn't display correctly in my browser.
Iconica has been thoroughly tested using the most recent versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Camino and OmniWeb. If you're having problems browsing Iconica Custom Icons try using one of the browsers mentioned and make sure it's the latest version available.

Iconica Sample Icons Usage questions -

› How can I use your sample icon sets on my Windows XP computer?
The easiest way to change your system's icons is by using a third-party application made for this purpose. You can use Icon Tweaker by Joost Verburg (freeware) or IconPackager by Stardock (shareware/retail).

› I run Windows 98 and your Windows 7, Windows Vista and XP sample icons don't look right on my system.
The Windows sample icon sets at Iconica are 32-bit color with alpha transparency. These high-color icons can only be used on newer operating systems such as Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server. Older systems such as Windows 2000 and Windows 98 will need to use 256 color icons.

› How can I use your Macintosh OS X sample icons on my system?

Iconica Icons Copyright Issues questions

Read Iconica Icons Copyright information and our Read Me file. They answer all questions regarding the legal copyrights on all our works.

› I'm developing an application, may I use icons from your free sample sets in it?
All our sample icons are available for use as stock icons for a minimal fee. If you would like to use any of our sample icons in software development or websites please use our Contact page. We will give you a reasonable stock icon price per icon depending on the amount of our sample icons you need.

› What if my program will be freeware?
The same stock icon fee applies for freeware applications. We have seen many freeware applications become shareware\retail. The developer is now making a profit but the artist\iconist will never be recompensed for their work. It's a tough decision we've had to make but icons\graphics is how we make our living. We hope you understand we are only protecting our product.

› Can I use your sample icons on my website?
Please contact us for stock icons pricing if you want to use our sample icon sets on your website. As soon as we receive payment you'll be able to use the sample icons\images. Our sample icons are only for personal use on your computer, website use of our icons require a stock payment fee.

› Can I use your sample icon sets as stock icons?
Yes, they are all available for use as stock sets. Please contact us for pricing information, we charge a minimal stock fee for their use on a per icon basis.

› What applications do you use for your icons and graphics design?
